Your whale watching trips begins with a scenic tour of Boothbay Harbor. Our Naturalist will point out various islands, homes, wildlife and historic lighthouses as we begin our journey in search of the whales. Once we reach the whale's feeding ground we encourage all our passengers to help in our search looking for any spouts, backs, bodies, tails or splashes.

The Charger offers four hour trips (8am to noon and 1pm to 5pm) for Mackerel, Stripers and Bluefish. Private charters for the above available for 4, 6 or 8 hours. Offshore trips for Cod, Cusk, and Shark are available by private 6 or 8 hour charters. Captain George Warren has over 23 years of experience charter fishing in the Boothbay Region. The museum has one of the finest exhibits of classic, vintage and antique automobiles in New England Couple this with its historic village displays and the operating live steam narrow gauge train and the presentation is unique and educational. The automobiles span the era of horseless carriages, to steam powered vehicles, to the streamlined cars of the 1930's and ending with the superb craftsmanship of Rolls Royce.

Celebrating Maine’s Role in American Art, the Farnsworth Art Museum offers a nationally recognized collection of works from many of America’s greatest artists. With 20,000 square feet of gallery space and over 10,000 works in the collection, there is always something new on view at the Farnsworth. The museum has one of the nation's largest collections of works by sculptor Louise Nevelson. Its Wyeth Center features works of Andrew, N.C. and Jamie Wyeth.

With a passion for cooking and a dream to be by the water I was led here. After selling a successful food establishment in my native Connecticut I knew it was time to move on. I was entranced by the natural beauty of this area and the opportunity to provide "Good Old Fashioned Home Cooking" to the many townspeople and visitors alike. I really enjoy seeing people enjoy good food. There's a lot of food out there, but not a lot of it is good. It is such a satisfying feeling watching people enjoy something you prepared with passion, savoring every bite, smiling, gesturing and giving you back an empty plate.

The Kaler family opened Kaler's Restaurant in 1998. Dan and Mary ran the restaurant for 13 years with help from their son, Sam. Dan passed in 2010. He is sorely missed by his family and many of Kaler's returning customers.

It was on July 4, 1885 that Addie Orne first opened the doors of Orne's Candy Store in downtown Boothbay Harbor on the coast of Maine. The store had been purchased by her husband, Thaddeus W. Orne, a successful insurance salesman with New York Life. On that first day her shop was supplied with ice cream, bananas and a variety of candies. Over the next 75 years, the woman who became known as Aunt Addie expanded her stock to include many fine quality chocolates and other traditional candies.
